Estonian Business School (EBS) is the oldest private business school in the Baltics founded in 1988. As a free-standing private business school owned by SA Estonian Business School (non-profit foundation) the university is financially independent and receives only limited research base financing from the state. As business school in university’s standing EBS offers bachelor, master and doctoral level programmes only in the business and administration study group.
Providing international learning experience is an integral part of EBS strategy. As the most international university in Estonia we knowingly and strategically pursue to increase the share of international faculty and faculty mobility, to strengthen co-operation with academic and corporate partners, and to enhance student mobility. EBS is also actively involved in international development cooperation projects.
In teaching and research, EBS relies on a network of contacts and partnerships with business schools, the business community and the public sector in Estonia as well as abroad. EBS activities are guided by the principles of ethics, responsibility and sustainability. EBS has 61 partner universities in 30 countries. For Bachelor programmes, the total number of partners is 57, out of which 29 partners possess at least one of the leading institutional accreditations, either EQUIS or AACSB. In addition, an EPAS programme accreditation is owned by 12 partners. 10 partners are having the so-called “Triple Crown” status.
